Spring Activities in Afşinbey Secondary School

We celebrated the coming of Spring. We made a Spring feast in our school.

My students boiled eggs by covering them with onion peelings to change their color.We were at our school canteen. I helped them while they were using oven to protect them any harmful things.

My students colored eggs with nail polish. They dropped some nail polish into the water, then put eggs to this water. So, they made colorful eggs.

After preparing all our gifts such as nuts,eggs, my students gave them to teachers and students

My students are willingness to what I say. They created their avatars using bitmoji, pixton, chatterpix and voki which are web 2 tools. In March I informed them how to prepare a logo. To do this task, I recommended them to use canva or poster my wall or any other kind of designer tool known by them like these ones.They wanted to use canva because as they sixth grade, in their information and technology lesson, the teacher mentioned them how to use canva. Therefore, they created their logos easily. Then, as their teacher prepared a poll using google forms. We shared this poll via mail an social groups so, we chose the best one for our school.

After choosing logo task, we celebrated the coming of Spring days.

March Activities at Afşinbey Secondary School in Kahramanmaraş

We started eTwinning journey with parental consent and I gave information about how to use twinspace and what eTwinning means.

After I explained how to create their avatars by using some web 2 tools such as pixton, avatoon,bitmoji voki and chatterpix, they made their avatars. We studied at school ,then we made a student webinar on zoom programme to meet other colleques of Unity in diversity project

WE CELEBRATED OUR SPRING FEST IN HATAY. WE PLANTED OUR YOUNG OLIVE TREES, WATERED THEM AND TAGGED OUR NAMES ON THEM. WE HAD A GREAT TIME. IT WAS AMAZING TO PARTICIPATE SUCH AN ACTIVITY WITH STUDENTS .I added two collages from our acitivy and two links .here you are.

WORD CLOUD ABOUT SPRING (10.04.2021)

Emine teacher sent students the menti activity code and wanted them to complete the sentence with a word. When they completed the sentence. we got a word cloud in mentimeter.

MENŞURE AÇIKALIN ÖZBUĞDAY SECONDARY SCHOOL

Our students wrote their slogan about "Spring" on the forum. Then they chose the best slogan representing our team on the discussion part of the forum by writing the number of the slogan as a reply.

"Waking of sleeping nature" was chosen by the students IN TEAM C and the letters of the slogan were divided into 9 groups. Every student chose what they want. And They began to design their letters.They used some web2 tools like ''Alphabet 3D Colouring, Alphabet Magnet World and Alphabet Color by Numbers.''Then Mentor teachers MENŞURE AÇIKALIN AND MELEK TONGUT composed the slogan using canva.Then melek teacher made a slogan collage of all teams.

Our team's slogan is ''waking of sleeping nature.''

And as a last acitivy melek teacher combine all of the slogans of teams.

WE MET WITH STUDENTS, TOOK THEIR PARENTAL CONSENT LETTERS, GAVE INFORMATION NOT ONLY THE STUDENTS BUT ALSO THEIR PARENTS. THEN WE MADE A MEETING VIA ZOOM ABOUT TWINSPACE. THEY LEARNED SOME WEB2 TOOLS LIKE CANVA, CHATTERPIX OR BITMOJI. THEY CREATED THEIR AVATARS AND UPLOADED THEM. AFTER THAT THEY CREATED THEIR LOGOS AND WE CHOSE THE BEST ONE VIA GOOGLE FORMS.

WE MADE A STUDENT WEBINAR WITH ALL OF OUR COLLEGUAGES AND THEIR STUDENTS ;THIS WAS AMAZING.
